Tirzepatide (Raw Material)

Code Name:C441 CAS No.: 2023788-19-2 Version: V1.0 | For Research Use Only

1. Product Description

Tirzepatide is a synthetic 39‑amino acid peptide that acts as a dual agonist of the glucose‑dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon‑like peptide‑1 (GLP‑1) receptors. It is the first approved therapy of its kind for type 2 diabetes mellitus and chronic weight management.

The molecule contains two non‑natural amino acids (Aib, α‑aminoisobutyric acid) which enhance proteolytic stability and prolong plasma half‑life. The C‑terminal amidation and a C20 fatty diacid side chain enable strong albumin binding, allowing for once‑weekly administration.
